Oil painting on canvas study of the old impressionism style. The impressionism evolved in the late 1860s by the French artist Claude Monet (1840 - 1926) who pioneered Impressionism.
Camille Donicieux (1847 - 1879), was Monet wife and model for many paintings. One of them is the Woman with a Parasol - Madame Monet and Her Son, 1875; was one of Monet most famous paintings.
Monet painted his wife and son outdoors during a casual family outing.
