Covered Mary Magdalene (FINISHED) | The French figure painter, Jules Joseph Lefebvre (1836 – 1911) painted Mary Magdalene (or Mary of Magdala) uncovered in 1876 in his painting entitled (Mary Magdalene in the Grotto). Mekdam painted her in this piece covered as a tribute to her and Jules Joseph Lefebvre. |

Monet Portrait (FINISHED) | At the same time, I am studying another piece of art painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
(1841-1919) who is a close friend of Claude Monet. Renoir and Monet worked closely together during the late 1860s. Renoir was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style. I was always enthralled by Renoir’s painting of Claude Monet in 1872, when Monet was 32. I am currently studying this piece. |

Woman Embroidering (FINISHED) | I am also studying another piece of art by the impressionism founder Claude Monet, which is “Woman Embroidering” (Camille Monet, 1875). The original is Oil Painting On Canvas.
In this piece, Monet was studying the transient effects of natural light to its most refined expression and wife Camille was his model again. |

Flower Woman (FINISHED) | In order to compare modern impressionism to the impressionism of Renoir and Monet, I am studying a piece painted originally by Richard Johnson. |

The Morning Breeze (FINISHED) | I found out that many artists like to paint “The morning Breeze”. So I’ve decided to have my own “The morning Breeze”. This painting is for a model walking in a jungle through “The morning Breeze”!! |

The Blind Story (FINISHED) | An unhappy woman met a blind man, who became her boyfriend later. While they were chatting, she asked him; “why are you always happy? I feel sad most of the times.” Her blind boyfriend grabbed a blindfold, covered her eyes, and asked her: “What do you see now?” “Nothing,” she replied. He smiled and said: “Great! This is your blank canvas. Now you can paint whatever you want on it.”… |
